it's december.

september was two-hundred and something days ago.

i'm not sure why that dumbfounds me but it does -
it's finally snowing in this city. i think that's the best part about moving to a new place, getting to see the seasons change and what that means here as oppose to anyplace else. the first snow somewhere is always a little surreal. i guess becos it means you've been here long enough to accumulate this kind of change and secondly becos most cities look a lot different. the sky gets orange or pink. that always happens in any city when it snows. but for some reason it always seems different.

of course if you were someplace where snow didn't happen, well, maybe time wouldn't bother you so much -

one half of a whole year of school is done.
that's also pretty strange.

it took me 2 years to finally do something that i paid six grand for and can't really remember anything i learned?
